SYNOPSIS
Puerto Rico. Young and pregnant, Wilma fears becoming absorbed by motherhood like her sister Luisa, losing both herself and her artistic aspirations. On this morning, her mother, a santera, presents her with a startling premonition: life has other plans for her, her children and her family.

ABOUT director yara travieso
Yara Travieso is a Brooklyn based writer, director, filmmaker, choreographer and educator. Travieso received a Dance BFA from The Juilliard School in 2009. She is a 2019 United States Artist Fellow, a Creative Capital recipient, and a winner of The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Grant via The Ford Foundation. Her film and stage work has garnered attention for upending long established modes of storytelling, crossing genres and mediums through ambitious Latin-American-Female centric narratives.
